The Boogie In Cabo, 2013 is ON! As many of you know, Rich Grimm, Tsunami Skydivers, has opened up his own drop zone in Oceanside, CA, http://www.tsunamiskydivers.com. This endeavor has been very time consuming for him and he is not able to organize an international boogie for 2013. Rich agreed to mentor me through the boogie process. The first thing Rich told me was that I was crazy for taking on a boogie, then agreed to provide me with guidance and come to Cabo for load organizing, etc. for as much time as he could get away from his drop zone.
If you have enjoyed the staff and boogies in Belize and Nicaragua, you will enjoy the Boogie In Cabo. You will see many familiar faces. Save the Boogie dates and get ready to land on the beach!
The ALL-INCLUSIVE resort is fabulous and sits on the beach. Come and enjoy the warm skydives and all the great water oriented activities that Cabo provides. By the way, the average maximum afternoon winds are 7-14 miles per hour! Read on for additional weather details.
The town of Cabo San Lucas is welcoming us with open arms. As ambassadors for the skydiving community, I ask that you continue to bring school supplies to the Boogie In Cabo with you.

The weather in Cabo San Lucas during March is PERFECT for skydiving. After conducting a ten year meteorological study, I found that:
The average daytime temperature is 78 to 80 degrees
The maximum afternoon winds are 7 to 14 miles per hour
The average water temperature is 72 degrees
There is no rain
The evening temperature can drop to about 60 degrees. Bring a sweater/hoodie
The breeze usually comes from the west, right down the beach
As I said, PERFECT!
Scuba Diving, Surfing, Snorkeling, Golf, Fishing, Whale Watching, Jet Skis, Horseback Riding, Zip Lining, shopping, shopping and much more. Did I say shopping?
School supplies: We are ambassadors for the sport of skydiving. Wherever we go, we generate positive or negative press. To help promote our positive image, please continue to bring school supplies that will stimulate the mind for the local students. We will collect them at the host resort and distribute them to the local school(s).
The following major airlines fly into San Jose del Cabo International Airport: Air Canada, Air Tran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, United & Westjet
NOTE: This package does NOT include airfare to Cabo San Lucas. Book your flight A.S.A.P.
When you are ready to leave the airport, walk directly outside. Someone will be there with a “SKYDIVERS” sign and direct you to our transportation. Do NOT stop inside the exit doors. There are all manner of sales people there that will try to get you to buy timeshares or “arrange” your transportation.
This is a package deal. There is no pro-rating of the boogie price for fewer days
Please do not think that if you have another place to stay in Cabo that you can buy jump tickets at the boogie. The answer is, “no”. It would not be fair to everyone else.
You will need a passport to enter Baja California, Mexico
Vaccinations are not required
Wi Fi is available at the host resort for an additional fee and set by the resort.
The water at the resort is filtered on-site and safe to drink. Water in other places is generally safe to drink, as it is ground water, but old pipes can make it questionable. If in doubt, drink bottled beverages.
Dollars are widely accepted, and often preferred, in Cabo. You usually get your change back in pesos. The approximate exchange rate is about 12-13 pesos to 1 US dollar, but expect less on the street when shopping. Bring about 20 to 30 US one dollar bills when you arrive. They are great for tipping, toll roads and small purchases.
There are ATM’s, banks and money exchange houses throughout Cabo.
